My question is does Wireless N have MIMO technology built into it?
The Geek Squad rep at Best Buy said MIMO really helps out if there are a lot of devices connected to the wireless router. In my college apartment, there will be about 3-6 computers using this single wireless connection at the same time, as there are 3 people in the house with a desktop computer that is wireless and a secondary laptop which is wireless.
I have heard people saying stay away from Draft-N but it seems like Circuit City has the Buffalo Wireless-N router for the same price as Wireless-G MIMO routers. So what is my best bet?

Seems that all the new notebooks w/ N use three antennae now, so it seems the MIMO is now part of N.
BTW, I don't think MIMO has anything to do with the number of computers, it's for signal strength. Handling a lot of users seems to have been a standard feature since B, it's called RTS/CTS. I don't think you have enough people to worry about it anyways, it's for like 20 people or something.
Since you're in a small apartment your best bet might be the cheapest, you don't need N/MIMO to reach the ends of your big house.

Awesome thank you!
I've been looking at BUFFALO WHR-HP-G54 $49.99 at Circuit City (this is the MIMO one) but there are Errors on the Circuit City website.

BUFFALO WHR-G54S $34.99 at Newegg + S&H and then Just 39.99 out-the-door at Circuit City. -
It's not MIMO, MIMO needs a bunch of antennae. It's higher power so the signal will go farther, otherwise they're both pretty good.
