So I was confused to post this on the Accessories subforum or this subforum. I decided with this one.![]()
Basically, I'm looking for a new wireless USB adapter for my notebook.
The requirements I need are just stable connection, good enough gain, and I can spoof its MAC address (most important).
I will use it everywhere, my workplace, my campus, my house, my boarding house, public places like Starbucks...
Currently I'm looking at TP-LINK's TL-WN821N, found it at about US$15.5.
Is it a good choice? Or can anyone point me a better choice?
Since I'm on a limited budget, the most I'm willing to spend is US$15.5 only... And I won't buy via online store, so even though I don't have a preference on brands, I prefer common brands so I can have an easier time finding it at a local store. For example, I won't be able to find brands like Tenda at a local store.![]()
Thanks in advance!![]()

you better get an ALFA AWUS036NH

May I ask the reason?
It seems pricier than my budget.

it's very cheap for the performance and has the best range. even more if you get a good antenna. it's really worth it. google it.
