Hello all!
I am using Beetel 450BXI ADSL2+ modem. All was working fine, until suddenly, the speed was reduced to less than half (I checked the uTorrent Speed tab, it suddenly dropped, suddenly, like, from 70 kBps to 30 kBps in about 5 seconds). The torrent has a 1000:1 seeder to leecher ratio. I changed the torrent, same. I tried to download a file from MS' servers, same. I rebooted the modem, same. I rebooted the notebook, same.
Then, I did an online speed test, and it shows that I'm getting 200-250 kbps when I actually have a 700 kbps plan and it was working fine until 2 hours or so ago, for months now.
There is absolutely no trace of any virus/spyware/crapware on my notebook, I am dead sure of that. Nothing is running in the background other than the usual services.
Any suggestions/solutions to whatever that happened? Can it be that someone changed a setting or two in my modem (by going to 192.168.1.1) (I was browsing via WiFi in another room than where the modem is)?
Thank you!

Its very possible that the ISP is having a problematic line and are diverting your traffic through another route, I would suggest you contact them and ask them if there is an issue

Thank you!
(I had asked them before I created this thread though.)
