Ok, I need some assistance here.
I have a review laptop with Windows Vista 32. It was working fine on wireless up until this morning when it refused to connect to a different network (except for "Local" access) (the network worked fine on other machines). I did a "Repair" which somehow screwed the wireless, because now every time I go to connect, Vista says it can't find any wireless networks. When I click Diagnose, it says "Turn on wireless capability". However, the WiFi card is already enabled in the BIOS, the device manager, and even in the Network center. The laptop has no fn+Fx key combinations to enable/disable wireless, and no physical switch. I already uninstalled/reinstalled the device with new drivers and it didn't help.
Any suggestions?

Are you sure about the switch and FN keys?

And I assume you have already tried manually connecting to a network, as well as 'manage wireless networks' and move the networks listed up / down the order in which vista attempts to connect?!!!! *Problem' for chaz himself???* talk about the ambulance itself meeting with an accident!

Yup. The laptop came with a sheet that explained all the Fn functions, none of them can enable/disable wireless. There are no physical controls on the laptop to do this.
Yes to those as well - there are actually no networks stored on the computer. I tried manually adding one, which did not work.
Also, there is no antivirus/antispyware software installed. -
Have u tried system restore to some point before this morning, before u started having this issue? *I guess you did!!*
