I have had my asusa b W3H00N for sometime. It originally came with an internal wireless Intel 2200BG 54mbps. It constantly dropped in and out. I then chnaged it so Windows controlled the device instead of the Intel software and ran a bit better, but still dropping out all over the place. My Dell C610's 11mbps internal card was more stable. The Intel 2200BG was just horrible, it would constantly vary from 1mbps to around 24mbps
So I removed it and tried two other Intel cards (can't remember the models), which I later sold. Still the same issue.
Then I decided to go with Atheros branded internal card. I have since been using the Atheros AR5004G 100mbps wireless network adaptor
Basically I just want to know if you have similar issues (espically with the Intel 2200BG) and what inetrnal wifi card do you use?

The Intel 2200 is widely regarded as a "bad egg" type of product from my understanding.
Personally I have been using a Atheros 5006 that came with a MBP I use for work. Never had a problem with it in OSX or WinXP with over one year of daily use. -
I'm using a the Intel wireless-N card.
I don't have an N-router, but I swear the thing is still faster than the G-technology that i'm used to. -

Dell Wireless™ 1505 Draft 802.11n Mini Card.
I have not had any problems with it so far, but like most people, I do not have an N-router. -

So even under windows control it dosen't work on Vista? Im guessing you need the Vista driver for the intel 4965?
