Intel WiFi Link 5100AGN
Is this a N card? is it the same as a Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-card with Bluetooth
if not is it faster or slower?

have you looked at Intels web site for documentation or (gasp!) a product brochure?
-
It is an N Wireless Card.
Seperate thing from Bluetooth though.
AFAIK, It should be the same or faster than the "Next-Gen" WiFi Card.
@newsposter: Yes, that would be good, but is it really that hard to just answer the simple question? -
I do think it's good to point out to people that they can actually do some research themselves from time to time

There are several threads on these forums that suggest the 5100 is the lesser quality of the newer Intel cards. I can't speak directly to it tho, as I have the 4965 myself.
It has been my experience that most folks that suggest this in the tone he did, really haven't the knowledge to contribute to the conversation anyway. -
You need more experience........

Yup! If it's possible, better to get straight to 5300 than 5100. 5300 is actually not newer than 5100 and they are still considered as the latest Intel WiFi Link cards (along with combo WiMAX/WiFi Link series). I know 'cause I've changed mine and turns out my notebook now can connect at more stable higher speed.
What kind of wireless card is this?
