    What's the best Windows 8.1 driver for Intel 6235 card?


    I purchased Clevo P150SM, it came with 6235 Wifi/Bluetooth Combo card. Until last week I only used Killer wifi cards, and I don't have a good knowledge about current Intel drivers and issues. Main use of the notebook is gaming and I'm using 5Ghz band only.

    You will either want a recent driver, ideally the most recent one or an older one from circa 2012. Avoid version that date from 2013, there was a disconnect issue on some of those. Start with the most recent one, it's been stable on my 6300.

    also, while the killers tend to follow a good, bad, good release cycle, Intel doesn't follow that trend. They can take their sweet time fixing issues sometimes though.

    thanx. it seems most recent WiFi driver is version 16.X and Bluetooth driver is version 17.X. Notebook came with version 15.X wifi driver.

    Just a heads up that it's also possible to install the driver only if you ever find that you don't want the software suite.

    That's exactly what I did. I didn't try to install the software suite. installed the driver through the device manager.
