Or should I say what's down with google. I'm having trouble with it for the last couple of days. Slow searches and google images doesn't even work. Anyone having the same problem?
-
No, I don't have any problems with Google...
And I'm not sure if this is the right section but it will end up in OT anyway...
-
Nor do i.....yes dreamer.....the image search worked pretty well yesterday didn't it
-
I have the same problems since sunday(using Firefox&Google).Where are you located?
-
I am in the UK at the moment, using FF and Google, and its fine for me
-
No problems here either.
I'm in Canada, I use IE7 and it works fine. -
Using FF, and works fine
-
Second that.

Yep, me too. I thought I had a virus or something, but I just completed all my scans and it was squeaky clean. It seems like Firefox ran super fast for several days after the update, then starting yesterday it slowed right down. Not sure what's up, but hopefully the next update should be here any day.

It's not software. It's apparently a Google or deep backbone problem. It's been reported across several ISP's, some affected and some not. I can report that north eastern US RoadRunner is getting Google fine.
Just Google it for more info.

lol! slightly ironic......Google for a google problem
-
I have not experienced this problem.
-
Are those of you using Comcast having the problem? I know I had issues with Comcast resetting my Google connections a couple weeks back.
-
The article I read was concerned that it was related to Comcast's Bitorrent interventions as the Google problem was seen within Comcast's network. The problem with that thought is that it has apparently occured outside of Comcast as well.
Then again, perhaps Comcast has its hands deep enough into the web to affect other ISP's. Lots of speculation.

Here is one mention of it:

At least we can know it's not a problem on our computers.
What's up with google?
