For quite a long time I was using my home wireless (WPA2) network, which consists of a broadband modem and a Linksys WRT160N router, solely to access to the Internet with my two laptops (XP SP3 and Vista Home Premium SP1). Then I decided to use it for printing purposes as well, so I just bought Brother HL-2170W printer. I managed to add it to my wireless network quite easily using Wi-Fi Protected Setup method and the printer appeared on Lynksis EasyLink Advisor software alongside with my both laptops that have printer driver for wireless connections installed. Yet, when I want to print something just nothing happens - printer appears offline on both laptops. I tried to create on demand ad-hoc network, but it doesn`t work either.
Could someone please help me in this situation? Thank you in advance!

Did you follow the Brother setup instructions? Usually if a networked printer doesn't work, it's because a crucial step or two was missed during installation. For example, quite a few printers and multifunction devices actually require each computer connect to the printer/device via USB for the initial setup, and this often gets skipped.

Looks like the printer's network configuration is set under DHCP. Maybe it is better to give it a fixed IP instead.

Wireless connection setup does not require USB connection, although I correctly installed driver for USB connection as well, but it didn`t enable printer`s wireless features.
Negative. It`s set to default (AUTO) like all the other settings since I haven`t touched them. http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p6/kaserx/TCPIP.jpg
This image shows the whole network: http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p6/kaserx/LELA.jpg -
So....
Which one is it? Did you input IP settings in that picture (192.168.1.104, 255.255.255.0, and 192.168.1.1) manually or were they automatically assigned?
You know automatically assigned IP settings means that they are set through DHCP function of your WRT160N, right?
Wi-Fi printer added on WRT160N wireless network, still unable to wireless-print.....
