I just got a new Toshiba M60-CD6 laptop, and the WiFi doesn't seem to work. It can connect to my wireless router, and load google's homepage no problem, but it will only load a small band of any other page after that. Then it just seems to be dead. If I disconnect and try again, it does the same thing. I have excellent connection 54 (Mb, MB/sec??), when it starts, and then it goes down to 1, yet the signal is still excellent. I have a USB wireless G adapter that works fine on other computers, but acts up on this laptop as well. The wired network on the laptop works fine.
Can anyone help me?![]()

I wonder if the browser is corrupt, try installing something like FireFox to see if the problem is consistent there.

No, I tried both IE and Firefox, with the same results. I reloaded the driver from Toshiba, and same thing. Then I tried getting the driver from Intel for the specific WiFi, and it works great now. Why the driver from Toshiba doesn't work, I have no idea.
I just thought about my USB WiFi adapter, and why didn't it work? Oh well. I don't really care now.
Anyways, thanks for your input.
