Just ran into an issue where a client had a problem with his Windows 7 Wireless connection profile not saving the wpa key. I can't for the life of me remember what setting needs to be changed for this to happen. anyone have any suggestions?

did you try deleting the wireless network profile and try recreating it?
-
yeah we did try that and the issue remained. It's windows 7 starter, but I don't see that as one of the limitations, though it could have been snuck in i suppose.

Is he using the windows zero wireless configuration or some third party connection utilty
-
This happens on some hardware when SSID is hidden. Try changing this setting on the router and see if problem disappears.
Windows 7, WPA Key has to be retyped every time.
