And vice versa? What do you all do?

I believe disabling wireless (and to a lesser degree wired) will save you battery life. Of course if you are on a wired connection there is a good chance you have access to power and will not be running on battery, but in case you don't this is probably a good reason to disable the wireless when you are connecting via ethernet port.

I've disabled the wired side of my connections and just have the wireless adapter enabled, but I did have both running at the sametime and didn't notice any difference in proformance. Maybe someone here can be more specfic on that subject for you.

Linksys techs tell me to disconnect from my network when i go from wireless to wired. Then reconnect to my network when i unplug from wired to wireless.
Some say just leave it the way it is and just plug in my wired and not disconnect from my network and vice versa. Oh well -
This dosen't seem nesassary IMO.

Your PC will use the first to connect as default. So to force it to one, disable the other.
Wireless /wired connections
