Hi Guys
I have a airlink router and its only connecting to one device at a time. Anytime I try to connect with the others it says limited or no connectivity which is really annoying. So far I have secured the wireless hoping the any neighbor stealing WiFi would be blocked but it didn't work. I am still only connecting on one device
Any advice at all would help if this problem is common

Is it possible that MAC filtering is enabled and only one particular device is added to the whitelist, or is it any device but just one?
-
How to check to see if MAC filtering is enabled?
And BTW its not a particular device any can connect just one tho -
So it's not MAC filtering.
Can you provide screenshots of your wireless settings from the router? -
This is the basic settings -
And the MAC settings and the advanced settings?
-
Couldnt find the MAC setting so I took an extra screenshot of what I hope it is. Taking long because I have to swtch between my laptop to take screen shots so bare with me -
There is nothing wrong with those settings. WMM should be enabled for best performance by that's not the problem.
Let's look elsewhere - now we are looking for a DHCP range - probably somewhere in the Network sub-section of settings. -
This is the only place that has DHCP written anywhere. Not sure if this is it -
Well this is crap
Basically all the settings are fine... except it doesn't work.
Why don't you try assigning static DHCP leases to MAC addresses of the devices you use daily just for testing? -
Explain to me how to that. I am not that computer savvy but I'm not computer illiterate either I just need a walkthrough this one...lol
-
You need to find out what MAC address each of your devices have - either by using software like Everest/AIDA32 or similar or by connecting it as an only device and than noting a MAC address from DHCP leases.
Basically each card has a unique physical address and IP is given to that address so i.e. 00-A0-c5-d8-44-12 receives 192.q58.200.103. So let's see what's gong to happen when you add those MACs and give them IPs from DHCP range (consult the last screen-shot you posted).
Basically all you need is to add two - if more than one works it's fine. -
I found the Mac addresses of each device in my house. Where do I put them or what do I do with them?
-
On the last screenshot you posted (the one from your phone) there is a "Enable static DHCP leases" check-box. Check that and then copy MAC into a relevant field and give it an IP from the DHCP range (so i.e. 192.168.2.100 for the first device), then do it for all other devices giving them subsequent IP addresses. Note that your router won't accept more than 16 of those.
Save it after adding and reboot the router to take effect. -
So can the IP address be the same for every device or I have to use different ones in every field
-
No, each IP must be different. It's best to use subsequent ones so you don't get lost - just change the last digit 192.168.2.100 then 192.168.2.101 and so on.
-
Just reset it and set up again.

Try turning off WPS and instead setup your security (WPA or WPA2) with a key of your choosing. As a last resort try using less secure WEP security. And see how it goes.

Based on your images you goto WPS and turn it off....then
Goto Wiressless- Encryption to setup your security.
WPA & WPA2 are best. Try those....
Last resort try WEP.
Another thought is to change your wifi speed options. I saw you had B+G+N chosen try g n or just g only. While testing your connectivity during each change.
