Kunch is right - just about anything besides the router can cause slow site connections, including the site server itself and all others in-between.
Check your connection speed - that router is a G router, so max speed should be 54mbps when connected. If you want to check overall upload/download speeds, go to DSLReports.com - they've got a good broadband speed checker.
Also, make sure you're connected to your own router signal - change your SSID to a unique name. Most people leave it at the default SSID (Linksys) and forget that several million others do the same thing. It's real easy to connect to a neighboring network unless your network has an ID that you'd recognize as yours alone. Sound improbable? I see it more often than you think. -

The ref can block and generate noise causing connection problems. If your phone uses the 2.4mhz bandwidth you may need to change the channel the routers uses. Phones can and will kill a wireless connection.
Make sure your SSID is broadcasted. Makes sure the SSID is unique like previous stated. Vista Prefers WPA(2) AES Personal encryption. If you using WEP it's time to change your encryption. Use random generated ALL Printable key, with a min length of 20 chr and you will be safe. The 54mbps is more than enough to handle any residential ISP speeds.
