I ordered a computer from Cyberpower that has 750i motherboard.
Whenever I right click to network icon in the right down toolbar and choose "connect to network"
I'm getting a message that says Windows Cannot find any network.
When I click "Diagnose why Windows can't find any networks"
I'm getting a message "This computer doesn't have a wireless network adapter installed and configured"
Can my computer use wireless? Cos some people on forum said that 750i has GBit LAN so it should be able to connect to wireless network?
How do I connect to wireless network?
Thanks!

Okay, it sounds like u might need drivers. I am assuming that you're using .Vista; right click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties'. On the left you should see 'Adanced System Settings' or something to that effect. Then you'll want to go to the 'Hardware' tab and select 'Device Manager'. Expand the 'Network' section, identify ur wireless card; right click on it and select update driver. Matter of fact u might see it as a yellow exclamation mark when u first go into Device Manager. Or u can go to the manufacturer's website for ur WiFi card and get the latest drivers.<--- Which is the best thing to do! Because you might not see the wireless card in Device Manager....
And make sure the wireless card is turned on and enabled. -
When I click update drivers it gives me message the driver is up to date.
Should I connect my computer through a cable first to the internet obviously, so I can go download drivers? (I'm writing on macbook right now)
Should I Go to nVidia website? Because I'm not sure if I have wireless or no.
on my motherboard, which is 750i it says it has Gbit LAN, does that mean I can do wireless? -
No...Gbit LAN is not wireless. Is Gbit LAN all u see under the 'Network' section of Device Manager?
Edit: This is a Desktop or Laptop? -
This Is Desktop
Under Networking Adapters I see only "Nvidia nForce Networking Controller". -
hmm...i'm confused...It sounds like there is a wireless adapter in the computer, but it needs to be installed using drivers.
Did you order the computer w/ a wireless adapter? What does the invoice of your order say under "Network and Connectivity" portion of the computer components? -
Onboard 10/100 network card

Right..that's only for a direct Ethernet cable connection. Which would be for a Local Area Network (LAN).
In order to get wireless, you will need a wireless adapter (whether an Internal or External one) and a wireless router. -
I already have a wireless router it's called "belkin f5d7231"
I plugged in the ethernet cable in my computer and the other end in belkin.
Now my computer can "see" my home network,
but it can't accsess the internet, it says limited or now connectivity.
There displayed 3 solutions, like unplugging, resetting and getting new ip
I tried all 3 of them and still can't connect to internet.
It give me message "Limited or no connectivity" -
A few other things to try with a wired connection:
1) Are you sure the cable is good? Test it on another computer that is wired to the router or swap out with a cable that is working with another computer.
2) Is the cable a cross-over cable? You'll need a straight path cable and not a cross-over cable.
3) Is the network adapter set to obtain an IP address/DNS server automatically? If so, is the Belkin set to be a DHCP server?
4) With some Gbit lan cards, try disabling the auto negotiate for link speed/duplexing option and set it manually (this can be found in the advanced tab in the properties of the network adapter), as some gbit network adapters/router combinations don't negotiate a proper setting.
5) Try disabling Windows firewall (or 3rd-party software firewall that you may be running) to see if it's blocking access. -
Problem was solve ;-)
I just plug it in lynksis, lol!
Anyway thanx all -
Do ipconfig/all in the DOS console and post it.
I see you solved the problem, good for you.
