    help! network disconnected whenever in sleep mode

    hello

    i have a dv2911us and whenever i go out, my laptop is then in sleep mode. after few hours when im back, my network is disconnected and (YM signed out) and then it's back but i have to sign in my YM again

    need suggestion how to fix this problem

    Set it to automatic sign in? I doubt there's way to keep internet connection active while in sleep mode.

    thats because you are putting it into sleep mode. you want to have it do nothing to stay connected.

    Sleep mode will disconnect the WIFI.

    i had an acer before but it's ok. whenever it's in sleep mode, my yahoo messenger is still online, but this one it has problem. when im back and touch 1 keyboard to wake it up, i see the network icon dropped and then it reconnect again. and of course my yahoo messenger is signed out so i have to log in again

    i use wired and i dont have wifi. all i want to do is keep my YM online whenever i go out..till im back
