    i have a belkin wireless router but where my pc is now in my room the signal can bearly get through and is very fragile (as in if you get in the way it stops) what i have dun is run a ethernet cable through the loft down into my room. but now i have an xbox i want that online at the same time as my pc.

    so wat im getting at is can i put another router on the end of the cable in my room which already comes from a router so that i can use both my pc and xbox at the same time?

    if i havent explained myself well ill try this for you

    modem --------->router (wiress and goes to other pcs in my house) ---------->my room---------new router-------->pc and xbox

    :confused:

    Welcome to the forums!

    What you are saying is certainly possible, typically you will need to plug an Ethernet cable from your first router into your second router's LAN port and set the second router as a DHCP forwarder.

    --> ill post links a little later

    EDIT: http://www.dslreports.com/faq/11233

    --> Best of luck!
