please recommend me a good network monitoring tool that could do pinging and trace routing and preferably that can map the ping route in a global map or anything like that.. thanks!![]()

neotrace can do it. its not the easiest program to find though
why do you want to do that?
just do a tracert in PC and then look at location tags on the router's. not as accurate but its not too bad -

It is one handy tool in testing a network. I ran into it several years ago, trying to get a port opened up for a service to run. I use it a lot in testing clients security, and mapping out networks. But like with any tools in the wrong hands can be dangerous. I wish they had a mac version.
