hi when i open any of my browsers i get the message unable to resolve the servers dns address

What I see is that the DNS is the same as your gateway.
See if you can "ping 72.30.2.43"
If that works try "ping yahoo.com" This will actually test the dns servers.
If Not:
How do you connect to the www? Home router or router + modem? Do you have to login to your ISP? -
on my working latop the dns and gatewayare also the same
