I personally bought a dented box 5.1 logitech surround speaker system for 51 shipped. The box it came in had nothing more than scratches on it and, of course, everything was there.

I got mine today and I'm not happy with it.

G9X was a much better fit.

This is NOT the mouse for you if you're a clawer. It's pretty heavy to claw, too.

To me, G9X is "the" perfect mouse...

Heh, I don't think it's worth trading a mouse, since the shipping cost will be 20% of the mouse value (on both our ends) if I were to trade it since we're in different countries

The G700 feels like the G9X loaded with the heaviest weights and I use 0 weights in the G9X

 

What's that? I've heard that term thrown around. Btw I just bought a G500 in the other thread. If i'm not a clawer (can't wait to find out if I fit the mold LOL ) which is the better mouse this or the G500?

 

A "clawer" is someone who works with about 1/4 of a mousepad and lifts the mouse 1-2mm off the pad in order to move the cursor across the monitor big distances. The arm is usually stationary

I should of taken it into consideration, but I didn't think the G700 would weigh more than double of a G9X (without the weights). I also cannot replicate the "perfect" cursor speed (I've tried every setting) that I had on the G9X. G700 is either too slow or too fast, seems the "in between" setting that the G9X has is no longer available.

I hope you find your perfect mold/mouse because it took me half a dozen lol. Once you find it, though, I suggest you stick with it for life and don't get seduced by new mice with more buttons/features like I did or else you'll be setting yourself up for disappointment.

 

I exchanged a Cyborg R.A.T. 7 for a G700 because I didn't like the feel of the R.A.T. 7.

My only complaint is I got one that I had to keep Windows Task Manager open because the pre-installed profiles were completely hosed. I had to RMA it, but the replacement has worked like a charm.

I love the weight and overall feel of the G700.

 

There were so many dented boxes they could sell. Unless they started denting un-dented boxes

 

I did warn you it was a palm-biased mouse a while back. I wish this offer comes back again. I would so sell my DeathAdder for a well-priced G700.
