They will have it shipped to store if you order it online. For $350, excellent deal. If it only had better battery life then it would be a home run no brainer. Although that GPU really isn't much better than an IGP.

Well that 4270m is one of the best IGP out there. Better than those Intel 4500m.

The 4270 is about the level of the Arrandale IGP.

I wish this deal was here last week. I bought my sister a graduation laptop with a P6200/2GB for the same price. The N660 isn't that much better than the P6200, I suppose, but it would have been nice to have it and more RAM for the same price.

For $350, you get quite a bit of hardware.

Yes, the GPU is actually useful, no it's not a Sandy-Bridge-level integrated GPU. Yes, it even games to a degree. No, you aren't going to break any FPS records.

Users report 2+ hours of battery life unplugged with everything on... tested 3.5 hours+ with power management... I wonder what exactly people are expecting from a $350 laptop.

Well battery life doesn't have to suck even in a cheap notebook.

True. Anyways, I'm sure battery will be much longer on the one you got for your sister.

Maybe slightly but I don't think the difference will be huge. Like I said, I do wish they had this last week but no regrets. The one I got is lighter and she likes the fingerprint reader :)

3.5hours doesn't seem to fit in the "suck" category.

The best laptop (not netbook) realistic windows battery life is 7-8 hours..
(without serious sacrifices or additional battery packs)

The ultra-high-end 485+ and optimus laptops are around 4-5 hours.

The 15" MBP gets about 5.5 hours of windows time. (7-ish MacOS assuming reasonable usage and tweaking)

All of those high-battery-life models are usually five times more expensive or more than the laptop we are talking about.

It gets half(or more) the lifespan of laptops 5x (or more than) its price. I'd say that's average, given that its not a gaming or premium laptop.

My brother finally got one. Well it seems pretty good for a $350 notebook. :) One of the best deals out there if your local bestbuy still has this.
