    Well, this can make just about anything a great deal. Microsoft has partnered with eBay so Internet Explorer 9 users can receive 10% eBay Bucks cashback instead of the usual 2%.

    "eBay has teamed up with Microsoft to offer select members of the eBay Bucks Rewards Program a new way to earn eBay Bucks. With Internet Explorer 9 (IE9), you can "pin" eBay to your Windows 7 taskbar, and that will allow you to earn extra Rewards on every qualifying purchase, through May 18, 2011. "

    To make sure you are eligible, check under the eBay Bucks page in "My eBay" and look for the promotion. You even get another $5 on your first purchase through the "pinned" IE9 feature, and you can earn up to $200 per transaction. Of course you can combine this with other cashback services, such as Mr. Rebates - Cash-Back Rebate Shopping at over 2000 Stores, for an additional 3% cashback.

    "Who's eligible for the promotion?
    The promotion is offered exclusively to select members of the eBay Bucks program, running Windows 7, who receive an invitation email from eBay. Invited members see the promotion message also on the "eBay Bucks" page in "my eBay". Check the section titled "Bucks news" on that page.

    Sorry, no forwarding, and no later signup or registration. "

    You need to have received an email specifically from eBay to be eligible for the extra 8% from Microsoft. Just signing up won't do it.

    You can always still sign up and receive that 2% as always and hey, 2% never hurts. :)

    I was aware of this promotion already, i made a purchase of $1,500 2 weeks ago and i only received $27 in ebay bucks as part of the promotion? :confused: I guess this promotion doesn't count on purchases over 1k ;) i will be calling ebay tomorrow anyways.

    I do have the email and the notification in my ebay bucks.
    I just knew about this promotion after the purchase.
    I could have got $80 + $5 if it was a 10% cashback.

    It says you receive the 2% and 8% promotion cashback separately.

    Hmm. I have the notification in my eBay Bucks page, but I didn't get an email.

    Also, when browsing items I still only see 2% Bucks earnable. Is the extra 8% added behind the scenes?

    I'm aware of that. I haven't got the cashback as of today. :mad: I guess it was too good to be true.

    My earnings finally showed up today! I purchased a Xbox & Kinect console on Friday and my earning with the 10% + 5% was $29 :whee:

    The earnings thru this promo, will be availi for spending on 7/3/11 for those that got it (or have recent accrued e-bay bucks) :)
