I've already purchased 2 other M1530's , the 1st one had a $100 gift card,and I haven't used it till now.

 

man im so tempted to use this. whats the best deal dell has done on the 1530's? this took about 150 off my order.

I guess here is my question when dell does for the inspirons $425 off $1399 or more do they void any current offer and use the full price or does that stack ontop of the already discounted price?

and secondly with the whatever discount dell already has on the 1530 it came to $1594. after i applied the coupon it took about 150 off. Is this the deal to jump on or should i wait a little bit more for a bit better deal and more money off?

when i asked the dell chat they said they wouldnt price change. but if i cancel the order dont i get charged a restock fee?

after looking around it seems like a GOOD deal just not a GREAT deal. well i got time to consider it that coupon is still good through tomorrow .

 

I know it doesn't help you at all, but I ordered Monday at 7 pm and have the same problem now. No, u cannot add this coupon to ur order, very sadly. And the really crappy thing with my order is, I tried to cancel it before the 48 hours went by, but I just did not come through!!!!! Argh! I could have canceled it and placed it new, but the chat and the phone were always busy.

 

Yeah, I was able to call them up and cancel my previous order (no problem with busy phones or a restock fee). I forgot to go to fatwallet when I re-ordered (and I didn't get my dell preferred account discount), but it still worked out to a lower price.

Just my luck. I was debating about this yesterday if i thought it was a good deal or to wait it out. Today i decided it was a good deal since it stacked and i was going to use it once i got home from work. Bummer for me. thats what i get for thinking about it to much.

WOW, I checked coupon this morning and it was still valid. I was going to order when I come home from school and now its GONE. Called dell and asked for them to tack it on my order and they won't. NOOOOOOOOOOOO I was going to order today too. Now I guess I won't get one

i guess the inspiron 1520 doesnt spark me much with the sound issues since i listen to a lot of music. and the 1525 is dumbed down in the video card dept. so the 1530 is the choice for me . ill just wait for a coupon.

 

you snooze you lose with dell coupons. if a deal sounds good enough for you go for it then you're probably not the only one. that's why dell has limited uses for those coupons. don't hesitate next time deal pops up because you can always cancel your order later

Yep, should've just gone for it. Worse case scenario, you cancel before it gets released out of production which usually takes at least 5 days. So that gives you 5 days to think about it. Oh well, lesson learned.
