Well it's not showing up on my cash summary so far. I e-mailed Bing and they sent me an e-mail pretty quickly.

I was asked to fill this out form below. It asks whether I used coupons or gift card... I'm not sure.

i talked to a rep who said the discount only works with the Studio and Inspiron

If, he told you that the 15% Bing CB was good only on the Studio/Inspiron..he needs to go back to *reviewing* the daily deals on Dell's site.. Sometimes, I swear..the Reps..say what they need to say..to just *get by*....No, I know they do... and, literally that's too bad.

It's too bad, when we as *Customers & Consumers* know more than the Dell Sales Reps, on Deals, etc.....

It showed up as 'pending' now. Bing Cashback customer service responds pretty quick via e-mail.

Im looking to get a triple monitor setup for my desktop to pair with the new ATI 5870 card. I like Dell monitors due to there thin and square bezels on some models.

 

I was thinking about another monitor myself...

 

The question in my case is can I pay off my credit card fast enough to make 15% worth something lol. Im looking at 3x 2209WA right now, e-IPS panels, all the cheap stuff is TN panels and they suck.

So they're just going to sit and wait till the product ships and cancel the cashback once I can't return it?

 

I got a Dell 2408WFP almost $500 no cashback email yet so hope to see it soon.

I also got two Dell 2407WFP monitors last night from the dell refurb store they were only $250 each. So I should have a nice triple 24" setup soon.

Yeah, coupons aren't working. Nice find in that service agreement. 15% is nice, but not worth it without being able to use coupon codes.

Though items without codes anyway...nice...

 

If you can find *instant savings* deals on accessories, etc...it makes it very worth it for the 15% Bing CB at Dell, even without the coupon.

Well... it would be nice if they could tell me whether those works or not right away...

Kind of seem like a business trick.. to not let customer know whether cashback works or not...until I can't return the product.

I don't get why Bing rep input the cashback then if coupon+cashback is not going to work......

Well if that's the case, I just hope X1051 price stays the same till end of this year so I won't feel like I'm ripped off.

Go to bing.com. Create account if you don't have any. Using the search function on bing.com, search Dell or laptops or electronics or bla bla bla. You should see in your result the ad as in the screenshot posted by OP.

I had to use a credit card for my purchase, but I read all the terms it didnt say ou had ot use PayPal to get the cashback but that is my worry.

for the ebay cashback I know you do have to use paypal, I have not gotten my cashback email yet but it says it can take 2 days so I still have another day to wait.

 

Nope you don't have to use PayPal...In fact you can use your Dell DPA on this! (that is, if you wanted)

Just got the e-mail $67.35 pending cashback from dell.com for the 2408WFP monitor, so that means it will cost me like $420 total. Still really expensive for a monitor but it was a necessary purchase for me to complete my 3 monitor setup.

The 3 year warranty and good dead pixel policy is good piece of mind though.

No you will know in probably 2 days, just like me. You will get the email and the amount will become pending in your account.

After 60 days it will move from pending into your account to use.

The pending is to make sure that it is past the 30 days return policy. I received mine after 30 days, I don't know why Viscious got his after 60 days.

Well let's just hope the cash back happens in 60 days.. other than that, my Sony Walkman is stuck at my local airport for the past 2 days because of weekend

 

they have cancelled cashback in the past on people even after they requested it after the 60 day period though rare it has happened. i have not had issues with cashback myself but many on slickdeals and fatwallet have. i say if its money you simply can not afford to loose dont use it. since they switched to bing they do seem more easy going but when they were live cashback they for sure ticked a lot of people off.

so long story there is A SLIM chance you will still get it cancelled on say day 59 or even 60... but as i said its very rare..i know a few people who requested cash back after 60 days and in fact had it cancelled during the pending period.

but ive actually been paid for a few items ive sent back for a refund even after the 60 days... so as i said its a dice roll

so how long did it take for you guys to see the pending cashback i bought a couple things and did NOT use any codes or coupons and its been a good few hours and i dont see it. not like them normally i know it can take up to 2 days but the longest i think ive ever seen in my account is about an hour or two.. thanks

 

You can e-mail them and they are rather quick. I live Hawaii so it's tough to get in contact with people in the mainland but I received two quick e-mails in four hours.

I got mine next day. Ordered on a Saturday, got the email on a Sunday.

 

Mine still didn't show up from Monday... hopefully the Bing team will have this straightened out soon...
