20% Bing Cash back in Dell.com

Bing actually doesn't have Dell on the list of stores so here's how you get it :

1. Go to Bing Cashback website

2. In the search box type "HDTV" and click the search button.

3. look at the ads on the right side. one of them should say HD TVs at Dell. click on the bing cashback link.

Does anyone know if you can use this with the student discount? I know for HP you can't but I am not sure about Dell.

 

This is pretty good. You can get a Nikon D3000 with a 18-55mm VR lens for $399.99 (original $499.99) which is the cheapest I've found so far. The Canon T1i is only $575.20 (original $719) which is also a great deal!

 

Don't forget to add tax!!! That is a big killer...It brings the cashback down to 13%

i could get to the dell website using bing cashback link. But when I click on alienware laptops and get to checkout point, no way I can see whether the cashback is still applicable. How does this work???

It says on the Bing page that sometimes it cashback doesnt appear on the cart, but they send you an email with the confirmation of the cashback within 48 hours maximum.

If you dont, you can always contact them, and if it is not working, cancel your order with Dell.

You will receive an e-mail confirmation after purchase from Bing. Sometimes it's not instant! It can take up to 48 hours. If not received, all you have to do is e-mail Bing..they are really good with followup!

I could get a great configuration of an M15x for $1699 with the -200, and then 20% off would bring it to $1379... that seems to good to be true.

 

Considering that's an instant discount, and not a coupon per se, I'm thinking it should work, which makes the M15X a really decent deal actually.

 

If this is true, it looks like I'm buying a laptop. >_>

The reason why the AW coupon might work is because it's an instant rebate that isn't applied, much like the instant rebate coupons that are automatically applied to the HP models, which is accepted by Bing. It's additional coupons that are usually an issue.

Well, I cannot guarantee that the M15X is covered by Bing.

Well, even though Dell.com has tax, they still had the best deal I could find on my 18-200mm Nikon Lens purchase...I believe it ended up being the best price by about $100.00 without using any cashback on another site.

BTW, it took about 24 hours for my cashback to show up my account. Don't freak out people...Some other people who used BCB had to wait until the order shipped to get their cashback....So, it depends...If it does not show up in 48 hour email Bing.com and that will give you a better idea of where you are at.

I was really hoping BCB would get alittle higher on some sites... But, I will take what I can get.

What happens is if you haven't received an email from Bing after 48 hours, contact Bing and open up a ticket. You can contact them before that, but they are unlikely to do anything.

 

Nope, nothing. Then again, Order is still in "processing" stage, so not sure if Dell sent Bing information.

i'm one of those 20% off alienware buyer 2 nights ago..haven't received my email and almost 48 hours now... 200 bucks off upgrade is instant but on the urade from GTS 240m to GTX 260M has a fine print.. it gives u a 50 bucks Dell gift card to be mailed later.....200 of is instant for this upgrade but GC is mailed later one.. will this void it due to the face it might be interpreted as separate discount?

I wonder if the 3% DPA off will affect Bing.

 

for those of you outside US , bing tends to block IPs that is not register within us , only way you can get that dell site up is using proxy (I was in the same boat , because I am deploy right now , so I have a kuwait IP and bing won't show dell , so I just call my friend used teamviewer remote control his computer , go to bing search dell , sure enough dell.com come up right away.)

Same here. I figure I'll wait till mid-day tomorrow and if nothing comes in from Bing, will cancel the order. Bing 20% off deal is still there, so will just reorder and see if it comes in on 2nd try.

 

For you guys that didn't get an email from bing; make sure to check your bing account and see if the transaction that you performed has been recorded. If it hasn't then contact Customer service. Their customer service is very helpful, if not a bit slow. I had an issue where I bought something from TigerDirect with bing and the transaction didn't show up and no email. I sent bing an email and explained the situation. They asked me to send them the invoice and answer a few questions and they helped me to get my money. No need to cancel a good deal for a small technicality

The problem is that if I don't cancel and re-order Monday then 20% off bing rebate goes away. So I am going to wait till tomorrow and see what happens.

Update: Just got my cashback email and it showed up on cashback account. So it is taking about 48 hours for it to kick in.

 

I still haven't received my cashback for my purchase yet. I ordered a camera on Thursday and haven't gotten anything yet. I've opened up a support ticket, I hope it gets resolved quickly and painlessly!

 

From reading forums, I have found that even if your cashback does not show up and you dispute it the most likely result is your account is credit for the right amount you deserve. It is quite annoying and makes you on edge that it does not show up right away.

Once, I ordered from overstock and they actually canceled my cashback for no reason. However, Microsoft put it back in my account once I contacted them.

Microsoft actually does a pretty good job being fair if something goes wrong. I would be surprised if it does not work out in the end even though you are having problems now.

 

Are you talking about your cashback confirmation e-mail? That will take up to 48 hours, and can take longer. As others have said Bing is very good on resolve on that.

If you are talking about "receiving your Cashback amount for your purchase". You will not receive that for 60 days.

yup still have a few hundred $$ in the account being lock in that 60 days , but it's $$ , so why not (If you know how these cashback/rebate works then you know most times it's true )

 

are they capping dell? i mean if i spend 2000$ will i get 400$ or is it capped like ebay at 200$

 

As far as I know, no capping for non-ebay sites, except for $2500 per account per year. Picking up a M15X z?
