    These are recertified or used units. So some ones mommy ordered them an Alienware, and shortly after it arrives Timmy got a bad grade, so the Alienware went back to Dell. Or some one ordered the wrong thing and sent it back to Dell.

    I think so. They come with a full 1 year warranty and 30 day return policy. I bought an M11x R1 from there last year and sent it back twice no problems, all postage paid by them, and last unit was basically new.

    Dell codes expire after a specific date or number of uses, whichever comes first. The redemption limit has probably been hit, so it's rendered useless. You'll just have to wait until the next coupon code hits. Best bet is to follow the Dell Outlet on Twitter.
