    It's a bit of a shootout between this one and the Crucial Real SSD C300 (C300 wins out if you have SATA 6 Gb/s, which no notebook has... yet). The OWC Mercury SSD probably compares as well, being based on a Sandforce controller like the Vertex LE, but I haven't seen as much on it.

    Yeah but the $3.50 per GB was much better than the $4+ per GB it is now. Now I just need a laptop to put this in.
