Angelicvoices actually posted this monitor on DTR a while back. It was for $299 and apparently you could call in to order and have them drop the price to $220 somehow.

Regardless of that though, this is a very good deal.

Yeah, Angel found out about the call in deal well after I had already ordered two of them for myself for $215. :)

$219 without having to fight for it though is a much better deal.

This is NOT H-IPS. Might want to change the title so people don't think they are getting an amazing deal... since H-IPS monitors go for $500+ more than this.

    EDIT: They are e-IPS.

Wow! Non-TN panel, height adjustable w/ pivot, swivel, and tilt, 4x USB!! This is an awesome monitor at an even more awesome price. Too bad no LED backlight and/or HDMI, but hey, it's a huge step up from a TN.

I've had this monitor almost since it came out. It's a steal even at full boat.

Old thread, I know, but are there any 22" monitors out these days that are better than this 2209WA?

    Thanks...

Hot deal for sure, I paid quite a bit more to have 24" monitors but the extra resolution was worth it to me.

@Soundsgood, I cant say I know of any in particular this should be a good monitor but I would read up on some reviews. Dell has horrible monitors when they first come out from what I have seen (and experienced) only after a few revisions are they worth getting.
