    hahah..good one but still a good price considering it as still 79 yesterday. wonder why they drop the price? new models coming i bet

    No surprise, considering the Shuffle was (before the price drop) about the worst value ever... for the $79 a Shuffle used to cost, other companies would sell you an mp3 player with 2 gb and a screen and full navigation. I'm mostly just surprised Apple didn't drop the price back in September when they introduced the new Nanos.

    Anyway, a 2 gb Shuffle is coming, if you consider that a new model. I don't know why anyone would really want a 2gb player without a screen though... I can see the Shuffle screenless thing working ok for 512 mb or even 1 gb, but with 2 gb, I'd really want to have a screen and navigation.
