This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just caught this deal on slickdeals, you can get 40% off of a square trade warranty if you Like them on FB:

    offer is limited to the first 10,000 and max discount you can get is $40. For those unfamiliar with Square Trade, basically they offer similar or same warranty as direct from manufacturer but for cheaper. The company has a lot of good feedback, though haven't ever purchased a warranty from them myself.
