    When I went to Square Trade's site you were also allowed to buy warranties on used items. But it seems that this coupon is only good for warranties on new items?

    I believe you have up until 11 months past the purchase date of your new laptop to get a warranty. 40% sounds great, but max of $40 I guess i only good if your warranty is $100 or less. I'm looking at a 3 year with full accidental damage protection for a laptop and it costs $399. You can use the code "CSTHANKU" and get 20% off any order. In this case, I'll get $80 off.
