    I paid $99 to upgrade to 4GB of RAM for my iMac last week from macsales.com $89 is a great price - think I'm going to pick up some RAM for my wife's Inspiron now as well

    Yes it would - your computer would only be able to address 3.26GB of it though. Still a worthwhile upgrade, in any case.

    This should go into the deals forum, not hardware.

    Yes, OCZ is a good brand. I've purchased their memory a few times before. As stated in other posts, brands of memory are all pretty much the same. Just look for a life time warranty and the best price you can find.

    W0W - A+++ for new egg. I told them I found simliar Ram for $30 cheaper at a different store and they just credited my order $25! I'm a new egg customer for life!

    What do you look for to see if these are compatible with your computer.
    I have an HP dv6000t (bought in Feb 2007) T7200 processor
    and a Macbook (bought in nov 2006) with at T7200 processor.

    How do I know if this OCZ or G-Skill RAM will work?

    I know all of them are ddr 2 667, but what does all the pc2's mean?

    Yeah but that's after rebate. Newegg has them for under $80, no rebate no nothing to worry about.

    If you want the best deal, it is still the one that sgntx posted at buy.com, where you can get 2gb module for around $23 after rebate and google checkout.
