    6Ave has the mid-2008 50" 1080p Pioneer Kuro model at $1929. Why is that a good price: the brand. It's a Pioneer. "The best TV we've ever tested" "Products the deepest black we've ever seen" are the the kind of comments critics give it. This is a few hundred over my budget, but I'm consider getting it at that price because of the size and quality of the brand.
