    I have another question. I went to the link and it takes me to some MAC store. Is this drive the same one that newegg sells? Will it work in a non MAC machine? I want to put this in my T61p. Thanks.

    Yes. SATA is an industry standard. Just make sure the system you're buying it for is a SATA, not EIDE (Parallel).

    That`s not a bad price. They`re cutting down the prices to make way for the newer 320Gb drives(5.4k and 7.2k rpm).

    There is also a newer version of this hdd. Almost the same but with SATA 300mbps interface.



    Still a great hdd at a sweet price. :cool:

    I`m counting on that. I`m getting it, unless the 500GB 5400 rpm one proves to be a better overall deal.
