    Apple has better marketing :)

A regular person would think that a "Retina" screen is totally superior to the one used in this cheap HP.

Similar specced rMBP 13 costs twice as more :p

    Both are consumer laptops anyways.

The rMBP has an SSD and full-voltage CPU. This HP has a HDD and low-voltage CPU. Whether that's worth the price difference would depend on how easily you can swap the HP's hard drive for an SSD.

I was referring to the 13 inch MBP, which does not have a full voltage CPU.

So the only advantages are the Iris 5100 and the SSD, the latter being manually upgradeable in the HP.

well the macbook is consumer, and sleek book not being business class is consumer as well.

the price difference is worth it if you want the cool factor.
