    Do you seriously believe they aren't going to send refunds when the cancel the orders? That's absurd.

    You will all get refunds after orders are processed by the system for the initial charge. Then once they cancel on monday they will process the refunds and you are looking at 3-5days time for everything to get sorted out. No vendor is going to just take your money and not refund unless they are wanting to get thousands of chargebacks. You will all get your money just have to follow up and make sure you get your refund and they process it in time. Big headache and very very little chance of it going through when the deal has been posted up on multiple forums and thousands of people have purchased and each one is hoping their order will slip through the cracks lolz.

    I got a notice from Adorama on a "bill" that said that they are not going to pull from my paypal until it ships... Missing funds argument is not applicable for those who ordered there.

    Yes but I am pretty sure they don't actually charge you until it ships. If they cancel the order they will never charge you and you will never have to wait for a refund.

    Actually I got that email but also a backorder slip saying that when it comes instock... they will send it...

    Just checked the status of my order and its not showing cancelled... Just saying that backordered usually ships in 10-12 days.

    Got the cancellation and then got the back order email. Checked my order status and it said pending but that was last updated yesterday.

    I ordered from thenerds too, and clearly it hasn't shipped considering they are closed on the weekends and only ship Mon-Thurs.

    In situations like this, I use my real credit card, assume it won't go through and if it does great. If not, like I said, no harm; no foul. I won't raise a stink like some
    suggest and try to abuse their customer service for something free or a discount. I am fully aware of what it is, hope to get lucky and if not ah well. :)

    Got my cancellation. They claimed "out of stock". Interesting how they managed to ship something that was out of stock, over the weekend, minutes after purchase. Adorama clearly handled this pricing error much better than TheNerds.
