No offense, but this isn't really a deal because pretty much every other manufacturer offers 8 GB kits of the same speed and latency for less money. Newegg has several promo codes available for various sets and even some mail-in rebates, which stack on top.

This Corsair 8 GB set is $34.99 after rebate and promo code.

Samsung might produce good RAM, but so do Corsair, Crucial, G.Skill, Patriot, and Kingston.

You're right of course, however for me anyway, I would prefer to buy memory from a solid, established manufacturer than some no-name brand. That's not saying Corsair in your example is no-name. If you think there's a better deal, than by all means, make a new thread with one. :) But I'm not offended, I don't work for Samsung. :) I've been watching this RAM in my wishlist for some time, and up until now it's been retailing for $89.99. That's quite a drop.
