The Shuttle Store on eBay (company that makes those popular toaster sized Small Form Factor PC's) is selling a Socket AM2 3000+ and 3200+ for $10 each.

they excellent prices but i wish they were dual core. i have a amd mobo that's just sitting around brand new. i am deciding if i should sell it or keep it and build a cheap desktop.

Well, for $10 it'll at least get you started! I have an old Athlon XP PC with Sempron 2400+ and it works beautifully with XP. Setting it up for my kids stuff.

true i guess 10 dollars can't hurt. i have a gaming saphire motherboard. with hybrid crossfire. i was thinking about putting the amd dual core @2.6ghz with a 45w tdp. but 10 dollars i can play with.
