    The original one came with a 6 cell, mine last from 5 to 7 hours depending on if i try to max out battery life or not.

    I consider the 1000H to be one of the best netbooks because the loud/clear speakers, responsive keyboard, and overall build quality with good battery life and all the features.

    It does have the odd shift key placement though and its a tad bigger than some of the newer netbooks but the trade off is worth it for me.
