If anyone is looking for an affordable really good gaming laptop (and easily mobile 15" screen) go to www.zipzoomfly.com

You can purchase the ASUS G1S-A1 laptop for $1430 with Free Shipping!!!! I ordered mine 3 hours ago!!!!

You get an instant $40 rebate from zipzoomfly + ASUS is offering an $80 mail in rebate on the GS1's through October 31st. Adding those all together, the whole laptop can be had for ~$1430 !!!!!! thats the BEST price on the internet!!!! all other places including newegg.com sell the laptop for $1700+

If you are looking for a great gaming laptop on a budget...go for the GS1!!!

BTW, it comes with the Geforce 8600m GT DX 10 card w/ 256mb GDDR3 VRAM and can be turbocached up to 512mb........ :D

ZZF also has the G2S-A1 17inch model for $1636 (open box special) with free s&h....... although I prefer the 15inch G1S model (they both have the same specs)

I was just about to mention that. Also, the Sager 5791 is currently going a free upgrade to wuxga. I'd say that the used market just got owned a bit.

ZZF price is now $1609 - $40 IR, no other rebates appear.

OP: the price you paid prior to rebates was $1550? Strange the price went up $59.
