AFAIK it's a T7300 CPU, 2.0GHz. I checked it out earlier today at BB: sign says 2.2GHz, Windows reports 2.0GHz. Add to that the lack of accident care, one year less warranty, no bag or mouse, sales tax... I'll go with one of the online guys.

Windows says 2.0 GHz because the floor model is not the same as the one when they give you the box. I confirmed by checking the model number on the bottom of the display model with the box and it was different.

That seems a little odd. Why would they display a model they don't sell, at multiple stores?

Well, that laptop is starting to go on clearance, but its unknown to most people. See the thread below. I just called like 7 BBs (combined 1hr holding time) but none of them had it for 1137$, but a few had it for 1399$

Yeah, you're right. I had similar lack of success with my local BB's: $1399, certainly nothing cheaper. Not worth it, IMO.

If you look at the picture on best buy you will see that there is no HDMI or eSATA ports on the back...That's how it is different than the A1

i bought the x1 from bb last week - which has the hdmi and e-sata connections

while i was there, the guys were opening the x3 box - it had the hdmi and e-sata ports as well

and they didnt power it on in front of me - but the x1 i bought also has bluetooth - so id assume the same of the x3

so no - the only difference is the lack of laptop bag and mouse - and the warranty change (only 1 year - and no accidental damage warranty)

Well, I went to BB Sunday on the off chance that there would be some still around. I had the sales guy look up the sku for me. I saw that some stores sold them for $1060, but only two stores had any left and they were $1499 and $1699. I wish I had saw this before.
