    ASUS W3V for $1569 after rebate

    Just want to share the good news with all of you, this is a very good deal that most people wouldn't want to ignor. With my purchase of ASUS W3V yesterday (7/1). I actually confirmed with Asus about the $200 mail-in rebate. Dealers on Ebay are selling W3V at $1799 with another $30 instant rebate. The total comes up to be $1769 shipped and you can claim another $200 dollars mail-in rebate with Asus. Even if you use Ebay/paypal and it will still end up to be saving another 100 dollars off MSRP. The total after that will be combined is $1569. What a great deal for a laptop that is normally selling at $1899!!! But the bad side is, this deal only last 2 weeks. When most people find out what happened, it will be gone already. I also asked about the 3rd year warranty from ASUS, their answer is YES, it CAN and WILL be combined because it falls under another on-going program.

    I doesn't seem to be offered anymore. Besides, AGear and the company on EBay are both California based. So if you live in California, you're going to get hammered by sales tax anyway.
