    Nice price but two things to be aware of on budget Acers is mediocre screen quality without clearbright and low battery life.

    I wonder if this model comes with the "surprise" dvd writer? I'd be all over this deal if it did.... But how to find out -- the laptop is offered on sale through the web only??? :confused:
