I was shopping for an inexpensive laptop today and found this Acer at Best Buy:

    Acer Aspire 5735-4774
    -15.6-inch WXGA (1366x768) glossy display
    -Intel Pentium Dual-Core T3200 (2.0GHz/1MB L2)
    -2GB RAM
    -160GB HDD
    -Vista Home Premium
    -DVD Burner
    -Draft-N wireless

The keyboard with numpad is excellent and the screen is of good quality. Very nice machine for $399.99!

As far as I can tell, it's in-store only since it is not online. This is what it looks like for reference:

Congrats! I've always liked this generation of Aspire's style. The new ones look too "sci-fi" and wide IMO...

I saw this tonight at BB and it is listed as having a 250GB HDD. It looks very good for the money.

That's a very reasonable price for such a machine.

Wow 400 $ is not a big deal for that configuration .It would have been better if there was additional RAM .
