Good price for the specs, but the new Acer Aspires have poor build quality and poor keyboards in my opinion. Go to Circuit City and see for yourself. A comparable HP machine is much more solid and has a superior keyboard.

For a cheap 14" notebook, I'd point you towards a Dell Vostro 1400 or a refurb HP business notebook from their business outlet.

Actually it is a pretty good notebook, with the exception of the speakers, which aren't loud enough and that dainty dual core Pentium, ehh what the hell, with all the money you save, you can but a better processor. Watch out for that space bar on it!
