    I know most of the time a mfg rebate usually says that you have to order from a certain or company.

    Can I see the link to the mfg rebate?

    Also, I think the Zalman NC1000 is a better choice.

    I say you try before you buy.

    I don't know about the Aeolus but you can get the Zalman NC1000 from Frys Electronics if you live close to one.
