I despise alienware for their pricey systems... but i'm wondering if I should get the keyboard. I hate the statement it makes if people see it though... -_-

Throw away 50 bucks or nah...

IMO its al about the game. Other stuff like the keyboard and mouse don't matter to me. Or you have good relfexes, or you don't. No expensive AW, Razer or Logitec mouse will improve your abilities. By adjusting the mouse sensitivity and using a decent mousepad you can go a long way.
I'd rather buy 2-3 new pc games than throwing my money away on another mouse (using a €6 logitech mouse, yet everybody runs away from me at cod4)or keyboard.

In Belgium its still 78€ with the m15x, and 50€ with the alienware desktop systems. If they would sell it for 29dollars (€23,61) I might also consider one. My friend got the same mouse, though its not an AW tactX mouse its exactly the same, and he got it with a cheap 400€ HP notebook >.>
Hopefully the discount will come to EU eventually, because the current prices are definitly not worth it.

ok cause when i see something like this its either a defective product or a new one is coming out soon i.e. E3 is showing a new version along with the keyboard imo.

ordered one. Nice to see the shipping is free as well so $30 total pretty good deal i must say instead of paying 100 for it if i had done that when i bought this comp the same and saw this i would have kneed myself in the head lol.

This is probably going to sound dumb, but I'd like to have a keyboard that in some way resemble "gamer".

I currently own an Asus G73JH and the keyboard is pretty bad imo. The island chiclet style is just not for me. I just started using my old desktop keyboard (I am right now) and it feels so much better to type on. But it's generic keyboard and looks pretty ugly. Most of my accessories are kind of gamer things, but I don't have many. I just have a Logitech G9x and a creative fatality headset.

That said, wondering if this keyboard is good enough to join my accessories...

Bought both but the mouse is unlikely to replace my DeathAdder. I'm definitely tossing my beat-to-hell G15 though.

It doesnt sound dumb. I also dislike both the normal laptop and chicklet keyboards. The AW tactx keyboard still uses the traditional higher keys which are a lot better for gaming (so you don't need to look to position your fingers, and there's less chance of pressing the wrong button).
