    It's a lot cheaper than usual, but still not a "deal" IMO.

    Well, now that you mentioned it, I don't have to. :)

    But the Kindle is pretty useless until they come out with touchscreen. Navigating that thing is horrible.

    I have the Kindle 2, and I really enjoy it. I take it with me me a lot when "out and about". I like all of amazon's free book DLoads, also.

    There are a lot of advantages with a Kindle. Just waiting for touch, though. I had a Kindle 3 and that was the deal breaker. Everything else was awesome.
