How come the deals from ThinkPad usually have faster CPU but smaller screen, HD, RAM normal? After adding these up, it's not a good deal anymore.

Such tiny laptops usually have smaller HDDs and less RAM. This deal is definately a steal.

A pretty good deal. I got almost the same config direct from lenovo.com, just with the p8400, 80gb hdd, 9 cell, 2gb ddr3(amazon has it at ddr2 for some reason), and with 3 year warranty for $1067 before tax. Tax bumped it up to around $1145. I'm swapping out the hdd for a bigger one cuz it's cheaper to buy it third party
