    I'm passing this along since this is an awesome deal if you have an American Express card. Here's the link:

    Click on the 3rd tab "Sale 3: LENOVO" then on the right you should see both the T400s ($999) and T500 ($649) will be available for purchase at 3pm EST today (11/30/2009)

    I think the T400s at $999 is an awesome deal.

    2 weeks ago you could get the T400s for $899, not sure if that deal still is up. Search Google :p

    Why are they giving it away?? 899?? That is even better...the T400s is the best looking ThinkPad and it is thinner and lighter and :drools: ^^ ;)

    That's a terrible price for a T400. You can get the T400 for nearly half that price.

    The T400 and T400s are different machines. The one at Newegg is the T400. You can get it for about 500 or so when a good coupon + deal comes around.

    T400s is a bit pricier.

    Ah! Thank you, that's much more clear now. I thought T400s meant plural.. like "Look at those 5 T400s on ebay". I didn't know it was a separate model entirely.. :)

    To be honest, I didn't notice the release of the T400s for a while and thought the same thing until I came across it while browsing the Lenovo website some time ago.

    I was talking to you. The deal in this thread is for the T400 s. You posted a deal for the T400, which is always cheaper than the T400s. For Black Friday's deal, I believe the T400 was $400 something. I'd never get a Lenovo from Newegg but from Lenovo directly. Check out the T400s review, it has a lot nice features that didn't make the T400 like eSATA, DP, lighter weight, etc.

    edit: mega late lol. was watching my lecture online.
